Originally developed in Austria, Lodensteiner wool is a 100% wool fabric that is carefully constructed for a high-performance and weather-resistant effect that is all-natural. From choosing the wool to the careful processing of the fibers, each piece is affectionately crafted to create a product of the highest quality and functionality. Loden has many benefits: it is naturally water-repellent, wind-repellent, breathable, odor inhibiting, and flame retardant, making it a natural choice to brave the colder seasons with. The Lodensteiner wool comes in a natural, undyed color range, meaning that the shade of the raw fiber has not been altered or processed in any way. The color you see is all-natural - with every nuance and perfect imperfection that this entails.
